We capture an injured White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) in the Hula Valley, Israel. The bird was then taken to a wildlife vet. Filmed 2005. Hula Valley, Israel.

American White Pelicans observed in the air and on the ponds at Coaldale, Alberta. Groups of the pelicans were cooperatively scooping fish just beneath the surface. Some of the pelicans possessed the vertical bill plate of a breeding pelican which is used in courtship displays and is shed after eggs are laid. ( Pelecanus erythrorhynchos ) May 2004
