Can Bomb Dogs Smell Thermite?

Debunkers Dave Thomas and Kim Johnson on Coast 2 Coast in a debate with Richard Gage, used "bomb sniffing dogs" as an excuses for why there was no thermite used on 9/11. So I decided to call a bomb sniffing dog expert and trainer to see if, in fact, dogs are trained to smell thermite. The funniest thing about this is that the debunkers claim the thermite came from natural building materials (Iron and Aluminum) YET they NEVER give any explanation for why the dogs didn't trigger off the iron oxide and aluminum building materials??? Debunker arguments are littered with these types of contradictions... How could the nanothermite have come from building materials, when the dogs didn't trigger off it???
