Cheap talk from Obama Administration official Don Glenn, director of the gov't agency Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Wild Horse & Burro Program, who stated publicly that roundups (aka "gathers") are open to the public - that no situation would prevent the BLM from allowing citizens to observe the tax-payer-funded roundups. Yet the BLM REFUSES to provide the public with daily access to the largest roundup (Calico) of wild horses in recent years. The BLM cites staffing issues as the reason to restrict public observation of this multi-million-dollar gov't operation. After over a year of planning for the Calico roundup the BLM decides to conduct the entire first month (of a 2 month operation) on private cattle ranches. TAKE ACTION to help wild horses visit humanitythrougheducation.com President Obama needs to hear from every American that we will no longer tolerate the BLM's ill-conceived wild horse program and lack of accountability.
