Homebuild bird cage, diy bird cade, Lovebirds

This cage was build about 10 months ago, I am putting up this clip because some people have e-mail and have asked for this. The birds are doing fine. Yes, it appears that the cage is a little empty, I used to have too many stuff inside the cage the birds did not like it. I guess they need some space to flap their wings.Their wings were never clipped. These two get to fly around the house in the evening, I guess that is not enough. I have learned that giving them some dry grass or hey is important. They need to build some nesting stuff, you can see it in the video. I guess that its their natural instincts. Please get some hey or dry grass that do not have chemicals sprayed on them and no; need to buy them. A vet told me that the hey or dry grass has some minerals they need for their digestive health. Being in a cage they have been deprived of too much of their natural environment. Please give them some grass, paper won't just do. To minimize the ants problem, I have cups filled with water under each legs. If you do the same make sure you put salt in the water. This will stop mosquito breeding. If you have any suggestion; please share. Do watch my other videos.
