Killdeer Plover Broken Wing Dance - Protecting their nest

Killdeer Plover Broken Wing Dance - Protecting their nest
A couple of the techs that work for me were at a site, and found these interesting birds on the roof. They would do a 'broken wing dance' in an attempt to lure you away from their nest if you got too close. After some research, I found the name of the bird to be a 'Killdeer Plover' (Charadrius vociferus). The dance, and watching them run (They are FAST) is really funny to watch. The babies are also really cute. A really cool bird.
