www.mojohandfx.com The Rook Overdrive took out the coveted "whatsthatdudeplay" 2011 Pedal Of The Year Award last year, and for good reason. It's a killer drive with a very large stack of tonal shaping tools including a three-way clipping toggle, two tones (bass and treble), volume and gain. The Rook won't add that severe mid hump that many other drives do. Instead, it seems to retain the guitar's fundamental tone and work outwards from there. Very cool. This video was recorded with a HIWATT UK SA212 Custom Combo amp and a Smitty Custom Guitars Brett Kingman Signature "Coffeecaster" guitar (thanks Eric!). The Coffeecaster has Amber Pickups (Germany) P90 "Rock" pickups in it. They're slightly hotter than normal. Enjoy!
