Sound only, no image. Call of a bird, perhaps a spotted owl? This is in a Northern California forest in a canyon with a creek running through it. About halfway through, the neighbor's cat is heard mewing, and an airplane passes overhead, after which the bird raises its volume. Spotted owls are a threatened species. They make their nests in mature trees, and therefore their populations are decimated when logging companies (or developers) come in and cut down the forests.
