Apologies for the unedited nature of this film...having to watch it at a 90 degree angle but unfortunately I do not yet have the software to rotate it. The video shows a collaboration between artist Sue Harrison and myself, flautist Alice Thompson. Sue Harrison created an installation inspired by the migration of birds. Each feather was made individually and the pairs of wings and single feathers are free hanging. Her installation inspired me to learn Flight by George Benjamin which captures perfectly the movement of birds and of Sue Harrison's installation.
