Experiments with Zoltek Pyron Carbon Felt in an Alcohol Camping Stove

This was my first experience working with this stuff. Home Depot in Minnesota carries it for 16$ for a little less than a square foot (9"X12"). It is about a half inch thick, so several stoves can be made from one Oatey Flame Protector. My stove body is a Sprague electrolytic capacitor casing--I cut the top off with my dremel. WARNING: electrolytic capacitors are TOXIC inside. Handle with care and clean well. The tubing isn't adequate--just latex tubing I had around the house. The syringe seemed like a good idea, but I wouldn't want to carry a fuel bottle AND a syringe. Anyway, my first experiment.
