A few nice aster images I found:

The volcano Mt. St. Helens, in southwestern Washington State, which had been dormant since 1857, erupted explosively on 18 May 1980 blowing off the top of the top of the mountain and spewing a cloud of ash and gases that rose to an altitude of 19 kilometers.

This image of Mt. St. Helens was acquired on 8 August 2000 by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) instrument on board the Terra spacecraft, a cooperative effort between NASA and Japan's Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI). Vegetation shows as red.
