Forget me not ~
Once upon a time, a Knight and his bride were walking along a river. While gathering the little pink flowers for his sweetheart, the Knight fell into the deep and treacherous river. Just before his Armour had pulled him beneath the water, he tossed the flowers to his lover and pleaded, "Forget Me Not!". Those were his dying words. Ever since, the little pink flower has been known as the forget-me-not.
Forget me not, I ask of you
Wherever your life takes you to
And if we never meet again
Think of me every now and then

A section of the churchyard by St Mary's in Shenfield which I saw for the first time yesterday. I thought Denise would have liked it, so I went back today to take pictures.
