Hi, My name is Michael and I'm 24, I have a master degree at "aero and rocket construction area" Recently I have known about the project energy of adventures and have decided to participate. There is no energy at the winter. Bustling world is always changing and it is important to keep up with it. Someties we have no energy to change the world. I care about the problem of the proper energy consumption and using new, advanced and renewable energy sources. Why? Because it's my life. The future of new generations on earth. In our industrial society all depends on energy. Cars move and rockets fly in the space with the help of energy. You can make bread, heat the shelter and switch on the air conditioning. Energy is our life. Everyone wants more energy, and resources, more life. Would you like to use 120% of your own life power ? This is also the energy - living a full life, that's impossible without travelling. As well as 10000 years ago, when the first cavemen which burned trees in their caves, modern people burning fuel today. We have not gone far. Nowdays modern people burn gas, oil and coal to release the power. The modern world is shared by countries with hydrocarbon resources, pursued by the increasing attacks of resource starvation. War for the resources does not seem a myth. But Do we properly spend energy? Russia is a great country not accustomed to economize consumption as natural and human resources. We are wasting what we have without thinking about the future ...

As I open this ceremony I would like to welcome the leading Russian and foreign scientists, representatives of business and social organisations who are gathered here today. Russia has been awarding this prize for already five years now. Today it brings together more than 1200 energy specialists from 47 countries actively participating in extremely different categories. Over the years it has evolved into a truly authoritative international prize. Its laureates comprise 17 famous scientists from 8 countries. I would especially note the Global Energy prize for youth. Its participants are literally growing before our eyes and 73 young scientists have already received significant help from the fund: half a million ruble grants for research. You know that Russia has recently markedly strengthened its position in the global energy market.
