Cooking rice with little fuel

Cooking rice with little fuel
Response to www.youtube.com Apologies for the poor quality, I used a cheap video camera and yet to find out how to upload videos without loosing much quality, any tips would be appreciated, thanks. I used the Minibulldesign cooking kit from (minibulldesign.com). It's a different stove to Lanny's and probably using different fuel (we cannot get HEET in the UK so used Methylated Spirit which i suspect isn't as good as HEET). I just wanted to see if i could cook rice using a small amount of fuel. I ended up using slightly more than 12.5 grams this could be down to the different stove and\or fuel and the lack of a Fin Shell which I hope Lanny will sell on his commercial site. I am very pleased with the results and now intend to use this way every time i cook rice as it comes out perfectly cooked and saves a lot of fuel over the conventional method. My girlfriend was impressed too which was a pleasant surprise as she has no interest in this kind of thing. My respect and thanks go to Lannyplans for the videos and inspiration. I hope to make his 2 can stove some time soon with a video response. http designstobuild.com
