The Senate convened for a period of morning business and thereafter began onsideration of HR 3606, the House-passed bill aimed at reducing regulations for small to medium-sized businesses that go public. *At 1:45pm, the Senate will turn to Executive Session to consider two judicial nominations for up to 15 mins. of debate equally divided and controlled by Sens. Leahy and Grassley. -Gina Groh to be a US District Court Judge for the northern district of West Virginia -Michael Fitzgerald to be a US District Court Judge for the central district of CA *At about 2pm, the Senate will take two roll call votes on confirmation of the nominations beginning with Groh first, followed by Fitzgerald.
