Toco toucans have two different sounds they make to communicate. The one in this video is their "purring" noise, which they do mostly when they are happy. Here, Paz the Toucan loves to tap my finger through the cage (a comfort behavior of hers) when I come to visit, excited for me to come in and play with her.
